Mary’s Path Advocates for Teen Moms and Babies from Foster Care in Sacramento!

The California Legislature is in full swing and staff from Mary’s Path recently travelled to Sacramento for the California Alliance of Child and Family Services advocacy day. We met with lawmakers and staff to stress the importance of properly funding the foster care system. We also took the opportunity to talk about AB 349, which would increase the supplement providers receive to care for the babies of foster youth. Finally, we shared our white paper on the unmet needs of pregnant and parenting foster youth.
