Watching our teen moms move on and take the next step in their lives is always an exciting
time. Rachel was so excited to get the keys to her new apartment. And we were so excited to
take her shopping for everything she’ll need to make a cozy home for her and her baby. Helping
our girls work through their trauma and moving forward is our biggest priority!

But even though they may have moved on from Mary’s Path, we know our moms and babies
still need support once they’re gone. That’s why, for three years, Mary’s Path provided an
aftercare program aimed at keeping our girls connected to services while also helping them
learn to live on their own. Unfortunately, the program was closed due to county budget cuts.
