Ways You Can Help

Gifts to Mary’s Path will change two lives at a time by helping a young mother to:

Complete high school at Mary’s Academy
Have access to childcare onsite while mom attends school or work
Attend parenting classes for mom and early childhood education for baby
Enroll in college
Find her first job
Learn to create a stable home and future for the family she and her baby have become

100% of all donations at Mary’s Path go directly to the care and housing of our teen moms and babies. Such costs have increased by 30% due to COVID-19.

What Will My Donation Support?

Basically, any costs not covered by government sources or grants, such as:

Eye care and other medical costs not covered by Medi-CAL insurance such as some aspects of orthodontia and oral surgery, as well as any emergency medical attention and any medicines not covered by Medi-CAL.
Special occasions- Birthday parties, prom, holidays, outings. Our teen moms haven’t always had special event celebrations.
Transportation -we have 5 cars and we manage transport for everything, including medical appointments and well-baby visits, work, weekend passes, court, therapy, among others.
New furniture for our moms’ rooms or the residence common areas.
Washers and dryers for the residences.
Toys and early childhood learning items for our daycare.
College fees not covered by Student Aid.

Gift Cards and Donation Drives

Start a donation drive on behalf of our mission such as collecting gift cards in any denomination from gas stations or retailers like: Target, Kohl’s, Marshalls, Walmart, Sephora; from restaurants like Starbucks, Canes, Taco Bell, In-N-Out, McDonald’s, IHOP; and from grocery stores as well. For more donation drive suggestions give our office a call.

Purchase Gifts for Mary’s Path through Amazon

Here’s our challenge – Amazon does not release the name or any contact information to Mary’s Path from the donations received through the wish list. We would like to stay in touch with our donors and have created an email so we can track and thank our donors. You can email donations@maryspath.org to notify us of your donation with contact information so we can thank you and add you to the newsletter mailing list. For those who wish to remain anonymous, we thank you for your support of the girls and babies at Mary’s Path.

Host a Fundraiser

Host a special event such as a social mixer or dinner fundraiser where a percentage of the proceeds go to Mary’s Path. For more fundraiser suggestions give our office a call.

Volunteer Time

Due to safety concerns of the pandemic, we’re unable to accept in-person volunteer help at this time, but please keep us in mind for the future. We will be updating this site as restrictions change.

However, we can accept volunteers who are able to work outside and not with residents or their children. If you or you group are interested in outdoor opportunities such as: washing windows, gardening/landscaping, facility painting services, etc. which are allowed under the pandemic restrictions please contact Jill Dominguez at jill@maryspath.org.
